The history of North Market Venue began in 1946 when it was built as Bethlehem Supply. The vintage touches, steel beams, and heart of pine floors are all original details still connecting us to this building's past. This historic building was home to "The North Market" for nearly 20 years providing furniture, antiques, and home design until it become an event center. We thought our clients when remodeling and designing the space. Keeping the vintage charm, while providing an elegant feel was a must. Beautiful draping & garden lights fill the ceiling space in between steel beams. Chandeliers & sunlight fill the rooms to accent original wood floors.
Barns doors, decorated windows and fireplace, and a built -in greenery wall are just a few perks of the space.


My name is Nicole McGowan. I am the owner here at North Market Venue. My journey into events began in 2008 when I started working with florals. I continued floral design all through college while pursuing my bachelor's degree in business from LSUS. After graduating, I started my own business offering flowers, decorating, as well as event planning and coordinating services. I have taken part in over 800 events since starting my business. My everyday goal is to create magical events to make lifelong memories and doing that in my own venue is a dream come true.
